Mark your calendars…....and grab your blankets and chairs. It's time to enjoy another summer full of spectacular performances on the hillside. Concessions are sold at all concerts or you may bring your own tasty provisions. Please remember that alcoholic beverages are prohibited throughout the park, and for everyone's safety and comfort, pets and smoking must remain outside the amphitheater. From the Fair’s initial needlecraft and sheep-leadline judging to the later Jr. and Adult Dairy Judging Contest, this is a very
busy week. The multitude of agricultural exhibits and demonstrations that are available to a viewer, this is a very complete
show. Visitors will be hard pushed to choose between attendance at Tuesday’s 4-H Lamb Carcass on Hoof followed by
Showmanship and the same evening’s Jr. Market Lamb Judging, not to mention Wednesday’s Hog Carcass on Hoof Judging.

Fort Armstrong Folk Festival

Four days of fine arts and crafts and local history that is held along the tree lined banks of the Allegheny River. Music will come
from the Lowlander Highlanders, the Kittanning Fireman’s Band, Madison Starr, Red Williams and many others. Information

The Hanover Dutch Festival

The 27th Hanover Dutch Festival will be held on July 31st. The craft and food vendors start at 8am and the opening ceremony
at 9.15am in Hanover. The area’s arts demonstrations will last throughout the day and entertainment, consisting of the Emil
Schanta Band, Schuhplattler Dancers and Selections From the Wizard of Oz, will be provided on stage. 3pm has the Dutch
Give-Away Drawing.

Three Rivers Storytelling Festival

One of the top twenty regional storytelling festivals in the U.S. It is two days of traditional storytelling on two stages (one indoor and air-conditioned, one outdoor under a tent) for all ages held each year in August. This year marks our tenth festival. Featured storytellers are Tim Tingle (Texas), Granny Sue Holstein (West Virginia), Kate Danaher (Virginia) and Joe Wos (Pennsylvania). Special events include Ghost Stories at 10:30pm, August 6.
