The Neshoba County Fair

South Philadelphia, Mississippi, 39350

July 23rd to 30th

The Neshoba County Fair

Founded in 1889, the Neshoba County Fair compliments a variety of political, agricultural, and social issues. Since 1922 it has
been the home of the Mississippi's only licensed horse track and is said to be the nation's largest campground fair. Amusement
rides and gaming are recommended as one of the fair’s biggest attractions, although its reputation as one of Mississippi’s major
political forums is well known. State, Local, and occasionally National politicians have come to the fair to make speeches in the
Pavilion in Founders Square. News media from around the state converge on the Square to cover these.

Union County Fair

New Albany, Mississippi,

July 31st to August 7th

Union County Fair

a place where fun, exciting, educational and competative events will be held every day without fear of rain. The Fairgrounds Arena's open air design and insulated top allow for good air movement and cool shade from the hot sun. We have giant shade trees and picnic tables where you can sit and enjoy entertainment almost every hour the fair is open. Our Ladies Building and Exhibit Building is air-conditioned, where you can cool off from the August heat and enjoy many educational programs and entertaining events. We hope you will come and enjoy the fun and let us show you why we pride ourself in being, the "Best Little County Fair in Mississippi." Take a look at our schedule and come on out and eat a good ole fashioned corn dog and treat yourself and your family to life time memories!
