The Canyon County Fair and Festival

The Canyon County Fair and Festival

An agricultural show with everything from swine, beef and pygmy goats on show, the Canyon County Fair opens to the public
at 11am each day. The Festival events will include a celebrity cooking show, Charlie Brown the comedy juggler, the
Rhinestone Roper and Ralph Maxwell’s hypnosis. Competitions will be held for ranch hands, dancing, branding, 4-H and
FFA beef fitting, poultry showmanship and the livestock sale. You will be able to see the Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo on
the Entertainment Stage on Saturday. See the General Info page for practical matters on everything from driving instructions to

Coeur d'Alene’s Downtown Street Fair is one of Idaho’s best arts and crafts events, with over two hundred and fifty booths
that can offer everything from hammocks to food. Founded in 1888, Coeur d'Alene is set in the Northwest’s sparkling water

The Jerome County Fair

Taking place in Jerome’s DePew Arena, the Fair’s events will include a demo derby, rodeo, pig wrestling, a carnival and a
motocross. A number of ag exhibits will be on display, and this is the Fair’s ninetieth year.

Raspberry Festival

Raspberry Festival

This year’s Raspberry Festival will be held on Sunday, August 1st, at the Monastery of St. Gertrude in Cottonwood. The
Festival will have a 10K fun run or 5K walk, car show, an arts and crafts fair, kids carnival, a quilt show, live music, cultural
demonstrations and, of course, raspberry products. The Raspberry Rendezvous will show you something of the area’s muzzle
loading, historical costumes and cultural demonstrations. A schedule of events and links to the individual attractions are given
from the home page.




South Bannock County Fair

Downey, Idaho, 83234

August 2nd to 7th

South Bannock County Fair

A multitude of agricultural exhibits and events can be found at the South Bannock County Fair. Everything from a map of the
fairground, the Tallest Weed Contest, greased pole climbing, motocross, racing pigs and links to Downey’s amenities can be
found on the enclosed brochure, as well as the livestock, breeding, sales and awards. The triumphant swine of Cook’s Racing
Pigs are awarded a Soft Serve Ice Cream and an Oreo (see page 7 of the brochure). The Downey Parade takes place at
6.30pm on Wednesday, August 4th (see page 8).
