Georgia Mountain Fair

Georgia Mountain Fair's schedule is made up of a broad range of local interest, including music, carnival rides, flower shows
culinary skills, a cloggers convention, parade, an interfaith worship service and a gospel music show Miss Georgia Mountain
Fair isn't crowned until Monday, July 26th and Heritage Day isn't until Wednesday, July 28th. Thurday's Bluegrass Day
leads onto the purely musical events of July 30th and 31st. The fair's layout is shown on the web site's Venue Information

The Green Bean Festival

The 1st Green Bean Festival in Blairsville will be on July 30th and 31st. The fair’s events will be green bean seminars, the Little
Miss Bean Sprout and Little Mr. Leather Britches contests and evening concerts and dancing. Saturday’s Union County
Farmers' Market and Country Craft Fair coincide with the Canning Plant tours, green bean pizza-eating contests, Misty
Mountain Quilt Guild's exhibit, tractor show, old tools display, Enota Farm animals and live Entertainment, which lead up to
4pm’s Awards Ceremony at the Civic Center.

The Lazy Daze music festival will be giving performances by Déjà Vu Atlanta and by the tribute band Moby Dick. Covers will
be made of Journey, Poison, GNR, Van Halen’s music and the outdoor venue is perfect for picnics and children’s activities
and dancing. Local food vendors are also available. Statham is in Barrow County, and close to the county seat of Winder.

The Palmetto Tatters Guild of the Southeast will be in Toccoa, GA, at the GA Baptist Conference Center, August 27-28, 2010. It will be two full days of tatting-the art of making handmade lace. We will have classes taught by teachers from around the world, including a Spanish speaking teacher. We will also have a shop to buy tatting supplies and other craft supplies. The Grayson High School Tip-Off Club presents the 2010 Grayson Fest – Arts & Crafts Show. The show will be held Saturday, October 23rd at Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Grayson Fest will feature more than 100 exhibitors, food, and fun, for the entire family. You don’t want to miss this exciting event. The Grayson High School Tip-Off Club is now accepting exhibitor and vendor applications. This event will feature juried and non-juried exhibitors. This is primarily an arts and crafts show. Therefore, the non-juried spaces will be limited. This event is open to the public and will kick off the holiday shopping season. The proceeds will help fund Grayson High School’s basketball programs. Student volunteers will be available to assist vendors with unloading and loading as well as delivering lunches.
